In Loving Memory of Erik Michael Jensen

On 11/28/22 at 0613, Our brother Erik was killed in a horrific car accident. Erik had many struggles with addiction and depression and was working as hard as anyone could possibly work to fix things in his life. He had good days and bad days and even several worse days.

Erik was killed when he lost control of his vehicle in unsafe road conditions. He did not negotiate a curve well and crossed into the opposing lane where he met a tractor-trailer. He was traveling at a very high rate of speed on West Lisburn Rd. and while there is not much comfort available in this situation, it is somewhat comforting to know that his last act on this earth was trying to help a friend get to work who was running late and needed help.

For all of Erik's struggles, mistakes, and other things he tried to overcome in life, almost everyone knew him as someone who would help if he could help. Even to a fault, he still wanted to help.

We are asking for help to cover some of the expenses that have arisen. Including, cremation, funeral expenses, and assistance while trying to make all of the arrangements that are so dreadfully necessary.

In the coming days (by the time you read this it may already be announced) We would like to hold a memorial service to celebrate his life and share pictures and good memories.

If you knew Erik, or know our family, or just have love in your heart and can contribute, we would appreciate anything that can be offered.

We expect that any remaining proceeds will be used to contribute to an organization that helps with addiction and depression.
