Hello, my name is Alyssa Sanchez, and I work with Jody Rogers, whose beloved husband, Eric, tragically passed away on March 19th, 2025. While I never had the chance to meet Eric personally, I’ve heard so much about him through Jody’s stories, jokes, family pictures, and even when he would call her. His love, warmth, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.

Eric battled alcoholism for many years, fighting this illness despite numerous efforts to regain his health. Sadly, despite his strength, he passed away after a long struggle, leaving behind his devoted wife, Jody, their two children, Sasha and Pierce, and many others who are mourning his loss.

Jody is an incredibly strong woman, but like so many, she’s trying to navigate this unimaginable pain the best way she knows how. She often uses humor and puts on a smile to hide the depth of her grief. While she continues to show up for those around her with her signature strength, we know she’s carrying a heavy burden in her heart. No one should have to endure this alone, and that’s why we are coming together to support her and her children during this challenging time.

This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of Eric’s funeral and alleviate some of the financial burdens Jody is facing. Your generous donations will allow Jody the space and time to heal, without the added worry of expenses, while honoring Eric’s memory in the way he deserves.
