In Loving Memory of Eric Brunet

On October 7, 2016, my children Ryan (7), Victoria (3) and I, faced a situation that nobody should ever have to go through in their lifetime. Their father disappeared without a trace. I was left speechless and unable to answer so many of their questions.

After four long weeks of extensive searching which was carried out by family, friends, as well as members of the Cumberland community, on the morning of November 5, 2016, his body was sadly found. Words cannot begin to express how your support during this difficult time has been appreciated.

To know Eric was to know he was simple, kind, loving, easy-going and would have literally given you the shirt off his back. The love for his family was apparent to anyone who knew him. At the young age of 44, he leaves behind his immediate family, two loving parents, and countless friends and co-workers who were given the privilege of knowing him.

This GoFundMe was created to help alleviate the unexpected financial strain that Eric's passing has placed on our family for the upcoming funeral expenses in the coming days. Any donations will allow us to provide Eric with a memorable farewell as he deserves.

Life can be awfully unfair at times, but there is much comfort in knowing that when needed, family, friends and the general public have your best interest at heart. Although Ryan, Victoria and I have a long road ahead of us, your continued love and support means the world to us.
