Loving Memory of Emma James, Helping us Support Her Horses
Donation protected
On 26th June 2025 our beautiful friend Emma tragically lost her life in a motorbike accident. To know Emma was to know a soul of immense warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for animals, especially her two cherished horses, Brad and Louie.
Emma’s world revolved around her animals, and they brought her comfort and joy even in life’s darkest chapters. When her adored dog Rosie passed away, it nearly broke her. But she found her way forward through the steady, healing presence of her horses and the life they still needed her for. It’s bittersweet to know that Emma is now reunited with Rosie, the dog who meant the world to her and Dotty her precious mare and who was Brads mum.
Today, those two beloved horses remain. They’ve lost the heart of their herd, and we’re rallying together to make sure they continue to be loved and looked after the way Emma would have insisted wholeheartedly and without compromise.
This fund is for them. Every donation will go directly to their feed, stabling, vet care, and overall wellbeing, not for personal gain, but to keep Emma’s love alive in the care they continue to receive.
Emma’s partner, Russ, is currently caring for her newer dog Molly and her cat Moo, they are being surrounded with all the love and stability Emma would have wanted.
Brad and Louie are with Beatrice Moss (Trixie) who was the only other person that Emma allowed to show jump her precious boys. From here the friendship grew and grew into something very special and Emma made it clear to Beatrice and others that should anything ever happen to her then she must take over the care of the horses.
Beatrice is determined to uphold this promise but at only 19 and at university it is a huge undertaking to honour and she will need as much support as possible from everyone.
Emma was understandably so proud of her and Brads achievements she would not like to see him and Louie turned away, instead Emma would want them to continue the work she so brilliantly started, this would be done in love and tribute to Emma James #ForEmma
No amount is too small. And if you can’t give, sharing this page is another powerful way to help. Let’s do right by the animals she held dearest and honour Emma’s legacy of love and resilience.
