It’s with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of Eli Mancia, a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend, and bright soul, who left this world far too soon at the age of 36.
Eli was one of the most humble, kind, loving/caring individuals you could ever meet. He lived with deep compassion, never judged others, his heart was open to everyone — no matter their story. He also faced struggles of his own, battling addiction with courage and resilience. Three years ago, he turned a corner and began a remarkable new chapter of recovery. He not only rebuilt his own life but chose to dedicate himself to helping others do the same. He moved to Indiana, got his certificate as a drug and alcohol counselor, and became the Director of Residential Operations at Restored Life, a recovery home. He offered hope, understanding, and unwavering support to those walking the same path he once did. His work touched many lives, and his legacy of service will live on in every person he helped.
Tragically, he passed away on Tuesday. His family and loved ones are devastated by this loss and are now faced with the emotional and financial burdens that follow.
This GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of those burdens — to assist with memorial costs and give Eli Mancia the tribute he so deeply deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, is a blessing and deeply appreciated.
If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Eli’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for remembering and honoring him with us.
With gratitude,
Maggie Kirk on behalf of Kim & Joel Mancia
