It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Eghosa Ogbebor, a precious young life taken far too soon. Eghosa was a kind and gentle soul whose presence lit up any room he was in.
On 2nd April 2026, Eghosa’s life was tragically cut short following a senseless act of violence in Woolwich, a place where he had always felt at home. This occurred just weeks after his 14th birthday.
Eghosa leaves behind his loving mother and father and two younger siblings. His family, friends, class mates, church members and local community have been left ridden with fear and are now forced to bear the weight of this immeasurable loss.
In light of the ongoing investigation, we are unable to share full details at this time, and we kindly ask for continued compassion and respect. We also ask you to kindly uplift the family in prayer so that the Lord may comfort and strengthen them as they navigate their new reality.
After the distressing circumstances of his untimely passing, we would like to honour Eghosa’s memory by giving him the dignified send off he truly deserves.
With permission from Eghosa’s parents, Mr and Mrs Ogbebor, we have decided to set up this fundraiser. All proceeds will go towards this cause, as well as supporting his grieving family with funeral costs, legal costs, counselling and other expenses, as they begin to seek stability and rebuild their lives in the midst of this catastrophic loss.
All donations are welcomed and will help ease some of the financial burden; no amount is too small. May God bless you and replenish your finances as you give
If you are unable to give, please uplift those affected in prayer and share this link to help us reach others.
Thank you for your prayers, charity for standing with us as we pursue justice for Eghosa.
