It is with great sadness that the family of Edwin Paguergan Fontanilla Jr. announces his passing at the age of 42 on Wednesday February 22, 2023.
Jay-R was a loving Son to his parents Edwin Fontanilla Sr. and Leticia Fontanilla, a loving brother to his siblings Edmon Fontanilla, Mary Jane Fontanilla-Pantoja, Rhea Coon-Fontanilla, and Diana Fontanilla, a loving partner to John Kervian, a loving colleague to those at the Victorian Order of Nurses, and a loving friend to those around him and will be missed. He was known to many as a family pillar, instilling lessons of love, knowledge, and curiosity, inspiring everyone around him to be their best and true self. He also was one that loved traveling the world, admiring all types of animals, nature scenes, and enjoying the sunrise in the early morning.
Proceeds of this fundraiser will directly go towards funeral costs to aid the family. The remaining funds will be donated to a variety of charities that Jay-R would have loved to support including organizations that work with Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Wildlife/Nature.
