In Loving Memory of Eddie Wide III

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved son, father, brother, and friend, Eddie Wide III. Eddie was a loving father, a devoted family man, and a dedicated juvenile probation officer who spent his life mentoring and supporting others. He had a rare gift for showing up—no matter the circumstance—and his loyalty, kindness, and strength touched everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Eddie was an amazing father. His six-year-old daughter was his entire world. Every decision he made was guided by his love for her and his desire to give her a bright, stable future. Though our hearts are broken, we are committed to honoring Eddie by ensuring she receives the love, care, and support he would have wanted for her.

This fundraiser has been created by Eddie’s family to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to support his daughter’s education and future needs. During this incredibly difficult time, any contribution—no matter the size—will help ease the financial burden and allow our family to focus on healing and honoring Eddie’s life.
