In loving memory of Ed Aru

Edward Aru was involved in the Oshawa Hawkeyes Organization throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. He was an integral part of developing, growing and supporting the youth program for the Hawkeyes that still exists today. Ed felt passionate about the importance of all kids being able to access the programs without money being a barrier. Throughout his years of involvement he, along with many other avid friends and supporters, worked very hard at fundraising to keep the programs’ alive. This “Not For Profit” organization continues to be dependent on community supporters and exists today because of the hard work and dedication of people, just like Ed.

As a family, we could not think of a more important way to honor Ed’s memory than by creating this Go Fund Me opportunity to give to the Oshawa Hawkeyes Football Club, a club that Ed (our father, husband and friend) felt so devotedly towards.
