Help Us Support Eben’s Daughter and Family
On October 4, 2026, our family’s world was changed forever when our son, Eben Shrum, was tragically taken from us in a fatal car accident. He was only 24 years old. Eben leaves behind his precious 2-year-old daughter, Maddisyn, who was the love of his life, and her mother, who is now facing the unimaginable loss of Eben while also trying to care for their little girl through this heartbreak.
We want to help Maddisyn and her mom through the financial hardship this sudden loss has created and will continue to cause. There are so many unexpected expenses that come with a tragedy like this.
Beyond the funeral, we hope to help Maddisyn and her mom by giving them some short term financial security while they begin to rebuild their lives without Eben. We will be there for them in every way we possibly can for years to come. But right now, we want to give them something they desperately need: time to grieve without having to immediately worry about how they are going to make ends meet.
Our hope is to help get them through these immediate expenses and give them a solid foundation from which they can begin moving forward.
No child should have to grow up without their father. And no family should have to face a loss this devastating while also worrying about how they will survive financially.
