Hi, we are Mindy and David Odle and we are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Nicole Watson, the loving wife of Earl Watson, who passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Nicole and Earl have been part of this community for years, spreading kindness, faith, and friendship wherever they went. Earl's passing leaves not only a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved him, but also an unexpected burden for Nicole as she navigates life without her best friend and husband.
Our community lost one of it's brightest lights when Earl Watson passed away. Earl wasn't just a landscaper - he was a man of deep faith, boundless kindness, and an unshakable love for life and people. Whether you saw him mowing lawns, pulling weeds, or even waving from his truck, he always had that big smile and a prayer ready for anyone who stopped to say hello.
Earl cared for his customers like family. He maintained homes and businesses across the area with the same care and pride he showed in every part of his life. And even when he struggled with health issues - kidney failure, respiratory problems, and chronic pain - he never slowed down!
Ten years ago, his devoted wife Nicole gave one of her kidneys to save his life. Their faith carried them through everything. Now, after his passing, Nicole faces not only heartbreaking loss, but also financial stress. Earl was self-employed and mostly paid after his work was completed. Meaning that there's money owed to him that likely will never be realized. She now faces funeral expenses and the many costs that come with losing a love one so suddenly.
This GoFundMe has been created to help Nicole through this difficult time - to honor Earl's memory and ease some of the burdens she now carries.
If Earl ever brightened your day with his smile, his words, or his work, please consider making a donation in his honor and memory. Every gift, no matter the size, helps - and means the world to Nicole.
Let's come together to lift up the woman who stood by Earl's side, and to the man who gave so much love to us all.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. May Earl's love continue to grow in every life he touched. And may his memory bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him, always.
