In Loving Memory of Dwan Tyler Cyrus

On November 23rd, 2020 we lost our beloved Dwan to his hard battle with RMC (Renal Medullary Carcinoma). RMC is an extremely aggressive kidney cancer that highly affects young individuals with sickle cell trait. This type of cancer is extremely rare and often only shows signs in the late stages. Despite, the rarity and the aggressiveness of this type of cancer, Dwan defeated  many of the odds as he fought through rounds of intense chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy sessions over the duration of 11 months. However, most people had no idea about  Dwan's fight. Most people that knew him could attest to the fact that he was the type of person to meet you with a smile and ask you how you were doing even until the end of his fight. 

Dwan was a son, a brother, a friend to many, a world traveler, an exceptional photographer and so much more. As we know his authenticity and kindness touched so  many people he will leave an imprint on many peoples hearts forever. 

At this time, due to the sudden nature of Dwan's passing we are kindly accepting donations to contribute towards funeral expenses. It is our hope that if the funds exceed the funeral costs we would like to donate to the Renal Medullary Carcinoma Foundation.
