In Loving Memory of Donald Fenton Jr.
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share the loss of Donald Fenton Jr., who left this world too soon at the age of 52. Donald was a beacon of joy, a fun-loving soul who built deep, meaningful relationships with everyone he encountered. He had a talent for making others feel valued and seen and was someone people could always count on, whether as a friend, a family member, or a colleague.
Like his father, Donald Fenton Sr., he was a remarkable salesperson, blending charm and skill effortlessly. Outside of work, Donald was a passionate lover of music, movies, and sports, who lived for live entertainment. His brother, Richard, lovingly referred to Donald as an “entertainment shark” because Donald never stopped moving and ‘ate up’ every experience he could. A true Chicago ‘north-sider’, he celebrated the Cubs’ 2016 World Series win and, like many, carried a good-natured rivalry with the White Sox.
Donald’s “north star” was his son, Donald III, they had a very special bond. Donald and Donnie were peas in a pod, the laughter they shared will make the house a lot quieter. Donald cherished the life he made with Denise, Hayden, and their dogs Bosa and Brady. His impact on the world was profound, and those who met him will not soon forget him. His laughter, his stories (sometimes embellished, an inherited Fenton skill), and his presence have left a void that will be impossible to fill. He was more than a dad, brother, son, or a friend—he was a force of nature who made life more joyful for everyone around him. He truly lived. Donald was “ONE OF A KIND.”
We are setting up this GoFundMe in honor of Donald’s incredible life and the legacy he leaves behind. The funds will help fund funeral expenses and handle immediate bills, providing financial and emotional “space” for his son, Donald Fenton III. Please help us create a lasting tribute to a man who meant so much to so many and for being part of Donald’s story. Your love and support mean the world during this difficult time.
