In Loving Memory of Domonic Yang

It is with great sorrow that we share about the unexpected passing of Domonic Yang on August 15, 2024.

To the world, Dom was a quiet, athletic kid who quickly excelled at any sport he played. To his close friends and family, Dom was a witty joker who enjoyed listening to music, watching anime, playing online games with friends, and spending time with his brothers and sisters. Dom was an avid football fan and made it a goal to visit all the NFL stadiums. He was able to watch his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks, play a home game in Seattle last year.

Dom was set to start classes this fall at Honolulu Community College in Honolulu, Hawaii where he was living for the past two years. He hoped to one day move to Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA or “somewhere not too cold or not too hot”.

We are still in disbelief and hoping this is only a dream. There have been many messages about how to help during this difficult time. Though we only ask to keep our families in your thoughts, a GoFundMe and PayPal/Venmo account has been set up for those who would like to support bringing him back home, funeral expenses, and any other costs that will arise.
