In Loving Memory of Divine Castillo

On November 3, 2020 Divine tested positive for COVID-19 and the next day was admitted to the hospital. Over the following days, Divine bravely fought the virus all the while cracking jokes with her family over FaceTime. Unfortunately, in the early hours of the morning on November 12th, Divine no longer had the strength to continue her battle and passed peacefully.  

Divine Devenecia Abelon Castillo was a devoted wife, loving mother, and thoughtful big sister. You also may know her as the right hand woman at Maharlika, working at the helm of the kitchen alongside Ed. Divine, at 58 years young, always knew how to make those around her smile with her jokes and her warm smile. In true Filipino fashion, when you walked in the door she would always offer you a warm plate of food to ensure you never went hungry.  Divine was indeed a beautiful soul that was taken too soon.

She leaves behind the love of her life, her best friend, and her husband Ed Castillo; her only child, her mini-me, and her daughter Jessica; and a caring family. Although she's no longer with us, she lives on through their memories and will never be forgotten.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help the family pay for hospital bills, funeral expenses, travel assistance for traveling family members, and any other financial burdens that may arise.
