I’m writing this on behalf of my dear coworker and friend, Penny, who is facing an unimaginable loss. On May 22, 2025, her beloved husband, Dion Jonathon Vasquez, passed away after a brave and tireless fight with cancer. Dion was first diagnosed in May 2021 and fought with strength, grace, and unwavering hope for four years.

Dion was deeply loved by all who knew him — a devoted husband, a proud and caring father, a loving son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his wife Penny, and their two teenage sons, Ryan and Reece, who are now navigating life without their father. He is also mourned by his mother and his siblings, who stood by his side with love throughout his journey.

This fundraiser is to help support Penny and the boys during this incredibly difficult time and to ease the financial strain and offer a cushion as they begin to heal and rebuild.
