Monday night we received the call no family ever wants to get. The worst news imaginable. It is with heavy hearts we share my brother Diego Bohorquez suddenly passed away at just 33 years old. His loss has left our family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him heartbroken.

Diego was born on April 5th, 1992 in Boston and grew up in Town ’n’ Country in Tampa, Florida. From the moment you met him, he left a lasting impression. Diego was truly one of a kind—confident, funny, bold, and a little rebellious and daring in the best way. He had a way of making people laugh, speaking his mind, and living life on his own terms.

He was an amazing and loving husband, brother, son, and friend—someone you could always lean on when you needed support.

More than anything, Diego had a heart of gold. He cared deeply about the people around him and brought energy, loyalty, and personality into every room he entered. Even if you were having a bad day, he would try to see the best in it and do whatever he could to cheer you up.

Those who knew him will always remember his smile, humor, his strength, and the unforgettable spirit that made Diego, Diego.

Diego is survived by his loving mother and father, his brother, his wife, and many relatives and friends who will carry his memory with them forever.

This loss has been incredibly sudden and painful for our family. If you had the chance to know Diego, you know how special he was. And even if you didn’t know him personally, we ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

We are trying to give him the farewell he deserves, but the funeral expenses are more than we can manage on our own.
