Dear friends and family,
Many of you will know that my beloved son, Devon, was called home to be with the Lord this past Friday 13th February 2026. After a long and difficult battle with his health, he peacefully passed away.
Though this loss has been deeply painful for our close friends and family, I find comfort in knowing that Devon is now resting in perfect peace with our Heavenly Father.
The Bible reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, with the Lord, the righteous judge but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Devon fought bravely through his health struggles, and I know that his faith has brought him to rest in the arms of Jesus, where there is no more pain or suffering. While our hearts ache at his absence, we hold on to the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also take comfort in the words of Matthew 5:4: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
As many of you know, Devon was born in St. Vincent, a place he loved deeply. The beautiful waters there brought him such peace and joy, and it was his wish to be laid to rest in the place he cherished. We are now making arrangements to honor his final wish and lay him to rest in St. Vincent.
We are raising £8,000 to cover the funeral expenses. This is a time of great sorrow, but also a time of remembrance, love, and gratitude for the precious moments we shared with him. Any contributions, large or small, would mean the world to us during this difficult time. Your kindness and support will help us honor Devon’s life and fulfill his final wish.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your prayers, love, and support as we lay our beloved son to rest. We trust in the promise of eternal life and know that one day we will be reunited with him.
With love and gratitude,
A loving mother
