We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of Deven Borgen, a young man whose kindness, loyalty, and genuinely good heart touched every person who crossed his path. Deven was not just loved — he was deeply valued by his community, his friends, and especially by the people who raised him to be the incredible person he became.

From early childhood, Deven was lovingly raised by his grandparents In the small safe town of Rainer Wa, he was homeschooled for many years of his life and currently a wonderful student at Rainer High School - Kathy and Ken Borgen, who provided him with the home, stability, guidance, values, and unconditional love that shaped him into the respectful, caring, and stand-up young man everyone adored. They were not just his grandparents — they were his parents, protectors, and biggest supporters.

As we navigate this devastating loss, we are creating this fund to support Kathy and Ken during this unimaginable time, helping to cover necessary arrangements, healing space, and anything needed as they grieve the grandson they poured their lives into.
