In Loving Memory of Dereck Carrero

On Saturday, December 4th our cousin Dereck Carrero was fatally injured while working at Food Lion  Distribution Center in Dunn NC. Dereck was only 22 years young and just starting to live his life. He’ll be remembered by his coworkers as a hard worker who motivated his fellow colleagues with positivity. Dereck enjoyed gaming and spending time with his family. He was a true Star Wars fanatic. His family will always remember his first Star Wars movie as an infant and the night he had his face painted as Darth Vader. His family will always cherish the loving, funny, and silly memories they had with him. He was always willing to go above and beyond for the people he loved and cared about and will continue to do so as an organ donor. He’s survived by his Mother Jadiera Caraballo, Father Rafael Sagardia, Step Parents and Siblings. Donations will be used to help his family with this unexpected tragedy.
