Hi, my name is Curtis Marley, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my mother, Karen Hatcher, and our family.

My stepfather, Delmar Hatcher, recently underwent open-heart surgery. Tragically, complications arose during the procedure, and Delmar has not recovered. He is now in hospice care, and we have been told he only has a short time left with us.

Delmar has always been a steady, selfless provider and caregiver. In addition to supporting my mother—who faces her own daily physical challenges—Delmar is also the primary caregiver for two young special needs children, Damon (age 6) and Donovan (age 4). His love, strength, and patience have been the glue holding our family together.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we’re facing not only the emotional pain of losing him, but also the heavy financial burden left behind. Medical bills have quickly piled up, and we are trying to prepare for cremation and memorial costs so Delmar can be honored with the dignity he deserves.
