Hello! My name is April. I'm from Freehold Boro, NJ class of '03. David and I met in high-school where he managed to sweep me off my feet (because seriously how could anyone say no to those eyes?! ). We parted ways after high-school and of course David, true to his nature, stubbornly, courageously and selflessly decided he was going into the US Army where he served his country for 10yrs based in Fort Hood, Texas. Sadly, just a few years ago David was diagnosed with cancer and eventually came back to NJ to be with his family.
Stephanie N. Parze, 25 of Freehold Township, NJ was the beautiful soul who brought David and I together again. Tragically, Stephanie went missing on October, 30th 2019. Her family lanched searches in NJ and NY in November 2019. Without hesitation I volunteered to help search for her. David saw via Facebook that I was posting the dates and locations of the searches and he asked "How can I help?" I said to him "You can help us find her." Even through David's pain and illness (none of which he let anyone know about) he trekked through miles and miles of dense woods, sticker bushes, cold weather, rain and snow. For approx. 3 months David was with me every single weekend until Stephanie was found and brought home to her family. David and I and thousands of other volunteers were dubbed "Stephanie's Angels". We will always hold the Parze family close to our hearts
David and I fell hard in love during those months and we were determined to be together no matter what. I asked him to be mine New Years of 2020. David found our home in Jackson, NJ and on December 23rd, 2020 we finally moved in to be together forever! However, God had another plan for David and called him home on January 30th, 2021.
I am now living in a 1 bedroom apartment that I cannot afford on my own without my David. David's amazing family is doing everything they can and gracing me with their love. I don't know what else to say, I just need a little help
