In Loving Memory of David “Ivo” Iveson

A short while ago in 2024, David unfortunately found a lump in his leg, which led to various appointments to get answers.

The specialists at Newcastle RVI soon diagnosed him with having a peripheral nerve sheath tumour in the leg.

The lump grew a considerable size in a short space of time, which led to David having to undergo major surgery to remove it.

This was a big operation to have, but a lot of strength and hard work was put in from David with physio to help him on his road to recovery.

After 3 weeks, David returned home to his amazing, loving family to continue his recovery.

Unfortunately, a short while after another lump was found. David continued to bravely battle through and began his chemotherapy journey in November 2024.

During this incredibly difficult time, David showed a strength that was beyond words and a positivity that comforted those around him.

So now it's our time to be strong!
David requested that anyone wanting to support in his memory to please donate to SARCOMA UK.
