In Loving Memory of Dave Swan - Honoring his Life and Legacy

With heavy hearts we have faced the devastating news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Dave Swan.

A beloved partner, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, father-in-law, mentor, coach, dear friend and cherished member of the Moree community, especially and more recently the Moree Junior Rugby Union, Moree Junior Rugby League and Central North Junior Rugby Union communities, where he made a profound impact and left a lasting impression for the betterment of so many young players and families alike.

Moree has lost one of its brightest lights. In the wake of Dave's passing, we must come together to support the family he loved so deeply.

Dave brought passion, charisma, wisdom and heart to everything he touched. He loved volunteering his time for the children, his commitment was unwavering, when times got tough, Dave always found a way to see the positive in life, he paid out of his own pocket to get players registered, get them fed and get them to games, get them to central north trials, get them on the paddock playing and enjoying footy.

Dave gave us the best of him. He brought his family along with him on the journey and they have become an irreplaceable part of our rugby community. This is an incredibly difficult time and the loss for Dave's family is immeasurable. It will take time for them to recover and we ask that we do what we can to help them pick up the pieces.

All funds collected will go to Naomi and the children to ease the burden of their great loss.

Let's honour Dave the way he lived, with generosity, unity and love. Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for supporting Dave's family during this incredibly difficult time.
