In Loving Memory of Dave: Help Alexis, Jack, Darian, & Rory

Donations will be used for costs associated with Dave's passing and to help ease Alexis' financial responsibilities that will come with raising 3 boys.

In Alexis’ words:

I am devastated to have to give the news that my husband, Jack and Rory’s dad, and Darian’s stepdad Dave McIntosh has passed away. He passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday 10/4. He was found unresponsive at the school where he teaches. As his friends know, he was loved and respected by everyone he had contact with.

He was the most loving and giving husband and father, and right now we are lost without him. He was also the most witty, intelligent, sarcastic and funny man that my son and I couldn’t help falling in love with him immediately. And that’s never stopped growing. We have experienced many family adventures in the last two years, and his love of life and adventure is the reason why!

Jack and Rory have been through so much with losing their mom Cheryl in 2020. I vowed to Dave long before we were married that I would love and care for them as my own. My vows on our wedding day in July were not only to Dave, but also to his boys and our family. I’m beyond devastated for all of our boys, and I know I will feel the devastation for myself in time. Right now I am dedicated to getting the boys through this. We had so many plans for our boys and our future together. I don’t know where to begin again without him.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out so far. Darian and I are beyond lucky to have had the love of a man that was loved by so many…his friends, his coworkers at the school, and his students and their families. I am also overwhelmed by the love and support of my friends and family at this time. I’m trying to get back to everyone that has reached out so far. If I’ve missed anyone or do miss anyone, I feel your love and will make it there.

Please know that as we wrap our heads around all of the things to be done, and all of the arrangements to be made, we will keep everyone updated as much as possible.
