Darvin Henderson Playmaker Athletics Fund
Donation protected
Hello everyone on behalf of the Henderson family and his wonderful Mother Monica I am raising funds to help support her and to also keep Darvins dream going of Playmaker Athletics and furthermore.
Darvin was a very impactful individual in so many ways to a lot of communities from the youth and athletes of all ages.
He lit up rooms with his bright smile and very unique laughter and he always left you with some type of advice that you will surely remember.
He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers so much that he will be glued to the screen and coaching through the television as if he was on the field calling the game himself. No matter what, he was true to his craft in every way.
Playmaker athletics was more than just about training for football, it was more so experiences that led to a family attachment and teaching kids the value of life within the game of football. He also stressed to all of his students and athletes the importance of academics in which it will lead them to do what they want in their own lives. His body of work all stemmed from his days of being a student athlete at Monmouth University where he was known by his teammates as the “playmaker” playing wide receiver.
A successful student athlete led to him being a successful business owner And coach where he managed camps, clinics, SAT prep classes and study groups sessions for his students.
A coach can make huge impact on ones life.
A quote Darvin stated from one of his social media post:
To all my athletes,
You keep me motivated every second of the day. There isn’t a day I wake up and have to force myself to do what I love to do. Seeing your progression and growth to successful men and women in the field of play and in the classroom has and always will be the gratification I need to know that I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be in life.”
Love,
Coach Darvin
Darvin was special and his legacy will live on through us all. He was a playmaker and made plays in every way he can! Thank you all for your support! It’s time to make some plays for Darvin!
God Bless
