Hi my name is Sylvia, I am fundraising for my cousin Lisa Parasiliti who has lost the love of her life, best friend and rock. Dan was a loving man, a good man to my cousin. At this time we are reaching out to family and friends to give our support and help pay for funeral costs.

Dan was a very well-respected and well-loved man in the Newmarket community. He volunteered as a hockey coach for many years, was the Founder & President of the Newmarket Car Club and a local business owner of CLSD Scrap Metal Recycling. Dan was known for giving back to the community and assisting to family and friends in need. He supported the Newmarket Food Pantry, Old timers Hockey and held the annual Newmarket main street car show and Fairy Lake car show for many years.

On January 26th 2026, Dan was suddenly rushed to the hospital at that time the family was made aware that he suffered a severe brain hemmorhage. He remained in a coma until his passing on February 13th 2026.
