Daniel Scott Medhurst was more than just a son, brother, uncle, or cousin—he was everyone’s friend. Fun-loving and loyal, Dan brought light and laughter to every room he entered. He had the best laugh, and once he started laughing it was contagious. He adored his mom, Julie Medhurst, his sister, Angie Halder (Medhurst), his brother-in-law, Josh Halder, his nephews, Kai and Kace, and his sweet pup Bodhi. His sudden passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew him, and the loss has been especially hard for his family.

Dan passed away unexpectedly in Virginia Beach, without health or medical insurance. The medical bills left behind are overwhelming, and the costs of cremation and memorial services are more than his mom and sister can manage alone. To honor Danny’s memory, the family will be holding memorial services in both Virginia Beach and Aurora, Ohio, so loved ones in both places can gather to remember the joy he brought to so many.
