Supporting Our Friend Daritza Germosen

We are Imanni and Glorimar and we are accepting donations to support our best friend Daritza. Her beloved mother Dabelba, affectionately known as Beba to her loved ones, recently passed away. She was diagnosed with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2018. Beba valiantly battled cancer for over 5 years. She was a devoted mother who cared for her children, Daritza and Wilson, single-handedly in Lawrence, where she had no nearby relatives to lean on for support. Her wellspring of strength came from her faith in the Lord and her close-knit community of brothers and sisters at her church.

Our dear friend Daritza has been the cornerstone of financial stability for her family since graduating high school. She daringly balanced pursuing her bachelor's degree while simultaneously working two jobs, and never seeking financial assistance. It is our heartfelt desire to extend our support to this resilient friend who has selflessly provided since she was 16 years old.

We are kindly asking for donations to help cover the cost of Beba’s funeral and burial in her beloved homeland, the Dominican Republic. We want to grant Beba's ultimate wish of being buried in her native land, allowing her family to bid their final farewells. It has been three long years since her family and husband last had the chance to see her.
