It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Corey Richard Gee, of Coquitlam B.C. Corey left us unexpectedly early on Thursday May 28th. Corey was born on May 14th, 1990 in New Westminster, B.C, and is survived by his loving parents Ruth and Rick, sisters Tanya, Stefanie and Sarah; brothers Bryan and Michael and grandmother Grace. Son, brother, grandson, and uncle, Corey was kind, loving and selfless, he was always generous to support and help those around him. He especially cherished time with his dog Attica and sister Sarah, skateboarding, travelling, and always exploring technology. His favorite times were undoubtedly when the family gathered together, and shared stories and jokes, and the room was filled with laughter and joy. He will forever be remembered for his giggle and sense of humour, and for the dedication and love he continually gave to those closest to him.
.
Sadly, due to COVID-19, a celebration of life is currently not possible. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later time. Corey will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
.
Rest in peace Corey Gee, we love you and miss you so very much, we know that you are safe now.
.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
