Standing with the Jordan Family in Faith and Support

Please join us in surrounding the Jordan family with God’s love and our community’s care as they grieve the loss of Corey.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Corey Jordan, a devoted husband, father, and cherished member of our community. Corey’s sudden departure has left his family heartbroken and facing the unimaginable challenge of life without him.

Corey leaves behind his beloved wife, Sharmin Jordan, a dedicated Teacher’s Assistant at CCA VE High School, and their children, who are walking through this season of grief and loss. Sharmin has faithfully poured into the lives of students and families, and now it is our turn to pour love and support back into hers.

In addition to their grief, the Jordan family is faced with the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We are creating this GoFundMe so our community can come together in faith and generosity to help ease this burden. Every donation, every share, and every prayer makes a difference and reminds the Jordans that they are not walking this road alone.

The Word of God reminds us of His comfort and presence in times of sorrow:

• “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

• “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

• “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4

Corey’s life touched many, and his memory will continue to live on through his family and all those blessed to know him. Let us rally together in love, faith, and unity to support Sharmin and her family during this heartbreaking time.

Heavenly Father, we lift up the Jordan family before You today. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them with Your presence and remind them of Your promises of comfort and eternal life. Lord, we ask You to carry their burdens, heal their broken hearts, and surround them with a community of love and care. May Corey’s memory be a blessing, and may Your grace sustain this family each day.
