On Wednesday night, his family suffered an unimaginable loss. They lost Connor Giurbino. Beloved son, brother, and friend, gone far too soon.

Connor dedicated his life to serving others as a paramedic in both Gainesville and Ocala. He loved his work and poured himself into caring for people in their hardest moments, always putting the needs of others before his own.

First responders carry a heavy weight, often seeing and experiencing more than most could ever imagine. It is a life of service that comes with deep sacrifice, and Connor gave everything he had to it. His family deeply loves and supports all first responders. They deserve to be seen, valued, and cared for, just as they care for us. Connor’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how important it is to surround them with compassion, encouragement, and understanding.
