In Loving Memory of Colson McVay
Dear friends and community,
My name is Stephanie Brown, and I am a close friend of Paula Williams—Colson’s loving mother.
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to ask for support on behalf of the McVay/Williams family. On Thursday, May 29th, Colson tragically and unexpectedly passed away. His sudden loss has left his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him absolutely shattered.
Colson had just celebrated his 14th birthday in April. He was a bright, happy teenage boy with a passion for life. He loved fishing, spending time with his closest friends, and simply being a teenager. He adored and deeply loved his longtime girlfriend. He loved to eat and especially cherished his mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls—always ready for seconds in true teenage boy fashion.
Colson was strong and fiercely protective of those he loved. His heart was big, and his spirit even bigger. He was the light of his mother’s life and shared a special bond with his older brother Bryce, his father Greg, and of course, his mom Paula. Their pain is immeasurable.
This kind of loss is something no parent should ever have to endure. And with it comes not only emotional devastation but also significant financial strain—funeral costs and time away from work that no one could have anticipated.
If you are able, please consider supporting this precious family financially as they navigate this unthinkable time. If a donation isn’t possible, your love, prayers, and support are equally meaningful and deeply appreciated.
Thank you for holding the McVay/Williams family in your heart.
With love,
Stephanie Brown
