In loving memory of Colin McArdle
Our beautiful Colin passed away peacefully with his family around him yesterday. He wanted to raise money for Anthony Nolan and never got a chance to get the ball rolling. An angel, a stranger, a young man from Germany, gave his bone marrow to Colin last year. This selfless act gave Colin the chance to spend precious moments with the people he loved most.
Anthony Nolan / DKMS are an amazing charity, who organise the mammoth and impossible task of finding the perfect donor. This is no mean feat, an impossible task to organise, however they do it and are still continuing through these very challenging times.
Myself, and my three amazing sons would like to give back to this amazing charity. Please don't waste your money on flowers, please fulfil Colin's wish.
Don't waste a second, don't moan about the little things. Keep safe and well. Colin was always the first to the bar and the last man standing on the dancefloor. So please raise a glass, and shake your thing, for this most wonderful human, who I had the absolute pleasure to have in my life.
