Chris Ceransky was a beloved coach for Team Maryland for the past 6 years and a coach/mentor to many others over the past 15+ years.

 

Chris suffered a stroke on the bench Thursday during a game. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and unfortunately suffered complications and was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital. Befitting of Chris, his final words to his team as he left the bench Thursday night was, “I love you guys.” He passed away late Friday night due to complications of his injuries. 

 

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Samantha, and his parents, Steve & Kelly.

 

All proceeds will go to John Pogreba, Samantha's Father to help cover expenses including, hospital bills, other medical expenses, and funeral/memorial related costs.
