Good evening, family and friends. My name is Claudia Gomez, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the heartbreaking news of my mother, Claudia Arledge’s passing.

Over the past week, my mom fought harder than anyone could imagine. She was intubated after suffering a heart attack, and despite enduring multiple cardiac arrests, due to CPR suffered broken ribs, and collapsed lungs, she continued to show incredible strength. Even when her body was tired, her spirit refused to give up. We watched in awe as she opened her eyes, recognized our voices, and fought her way back we didn’t lose hope as we believed from the amazing progress she was making she would be back home and recover—proof of her courage and the power of prayer.

Unfortunately, despite all efforts and her incredible will to live, my mom’s heart gave out one final time, and she passed away this Wednesday oct 8th. She left this world surrounded by love, with her family by her side, and we are forever grateful for every moment we had with her.

My mom was a beautiful, loving woman—mothered 10 children, kind, selfless, and always ready to help others even when she had little herself. Her strength and compassion touched everyone she met. Losing her has left an emptiness in our hearts, and while we find peace in knowing she’s no longer in pain, we now face the difficult reality of planning her funeral and saying goodbye.

I’m asking for your help to give my mom the respectful and peaceful farewell she deserves. All donations will go toward funeral expenses and helping our family through this devastating time. Any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference.
