In Loving Memory of Cindy Diep Bonilla

Cindy Diep Bonilla is a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and hair stylist to many. She has the brightest and most bubbliest personality. Her heart is so pure and filled with so much love and joy, always so giving and thinking of others.
Personally, she is my aunt and has impacted me in every way possible. She has spoiled me and my other two siblings ever since I was a young kid. On my fourth birthday, she drove all the way from LA to do me and my friend's makeup and hair for our little tea party. Over the summer last year, she visited San Diego, carrying several grocery bags filled with baking material, which then, she taught me her secret cake pop recipe. Another one of my favorite memories include baking those cake pops with Auntie Cindy. We spent the whole day and whole night baking 10 different flavors. Although it was exhausting and so so much work, it was definitely worth it. I baked them for my friends, and to this day, they all love it.
As some might of heard, she had been stricken with Covid-19 and has been in the hospital, unable to move for well over a month. On Thursday, October 21st, she fell into a seizure and was unstable for a week. She was hooked onto several machines and maxed out on all medication and oxygen. Her family and closest friends came to visit her in the hospital, we witnessed her vitals dropping and saw her in the worst physical condition. We wished and prayed for the best. However, it was not enough. Sadly, on October 31st, at 8:20am, my aunt passed. Ironically, Halloween had always been and will always be her favorite holiday.
Auntie Cindy left us way too soon. Barely turning 48 on October 6th, 2021. She had yet to travel the world, visit new places, and try new foods. However, she has left a mark within all of our hearts and memories, we will never forget her laughter and voice. We will most certainly miss the “oh let me take a selfie.” As she loved loved loved taking pictures every second of the day to capture the memories. We love you Auntie Cindy!
As for finances, my mom (Auntie Cindy’s sister) has carried the burden on her shoulders. She is constantly worried about not only Auntie Cindy, but oversees the future. Auntie Cindy is a single mom who has two boys, who she loves more than anything, Aidan (18) and Evan (almost 16). Auntie Cindy’s dream is to ensure that her two boys has a college education and a safe living environment. Her eldest, Aidan, is attending college next year at Fullerton. Whilst her youngest, Evan is finishing high school, and will attend college two years. For the past month, my mom has been doing her best to provide and help in every way. Many have inquired how they can help, thus we created this GoFundMe, hoping that every proceed will be put together for the greater of Auntie Cindy and her two boys.
Thank you for all your love, prayers, and support!
