Dear Friends and Family,
Many of you have asked how you can help or what you can do for the family of Christie Cox. You will find the needs below.
Jeanette’s (Christie’s mother) is in need of financial assistance to transport her daughter home from Seattle and plan her funeral.”
Christie was in a auto mobile accident on September 2, 2020 where she was hit by a semi truck. She had suffered numerous injuries and was airlifted to Seattle’s Harborview Hospital. Her injuries were to extreme and although the team of doctors did everything they could, God called her home in the early morning hours on September 4th.
Donations received will be used for transportation to bring her home, funeral expenses, and a Memorial. Any remaining funds will go to her three beautiful children who are left behind. Isella (12), Dahnte (8), Alahni (6).
Jeanette has lost her mother and mother in law in the past few months. The last thing she expected was to arrange another funeral. The Vargas and Cox family has been through so much this year and funds have been depleted to cover the cost of these funerals.
Any donations you are able to help with would be greatly appreciated, along with sharing this post. Whether it be one dollar, ten or a hundred, every single penny helps.
But what the family needs most of all is prayer. Pray for her three children as they don’t understand where their mommy is or why she left. Christie’s son, Dahnte is autistic and is having the hardest time. Pray for her parents, husband, and all of those who loved her. This is an extremely tough loss for the family. And please say a prayer for the Semi Truck Driver, as this must be traumatic for him as well.
Jeanette and her family would like to thank you for reaching out, praying, messaging, and sending your love. It is what is carrying the family during this time.
Love,
The Vargas and Cox Families
