Last night, our community suffered a heartbreaking loss. Chris Canario was tragically taken from us in a car accident at just 22 years old. He was the passenger in a car that hit a tree on Old Fall River Road in Dartmouth. Chris was a kind person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a way of making people laugh and lifting spirits. His kindness was genuine, and he would always go the extra mile to help anyone in need. Whether you knew him for years or only crossed paths with him briefly, you remembered Chris because of his compassion, warmth, and positivity.

The pain of losing someone so young is impossible to put into words. His family and friends are now facing the unimaginable reality of saying goodbye to their beloved son, family member, and friend far sooner than anyone should. A parent should never have to bury their child. As they navigate this devastating loss, they are also facing the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.
