On June 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, our beloved Chris Burlingame graduated from his earthly life at the age of 60 and entered into eternal peace, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply..

Chris was a lifelong resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born in Oakville, Ontario, he moved to Fredericton as a child and made Fredericton his home for the rest of his life. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, sense of humour, and the genuine friendships he built throughout the years.

Chris brought warmth, laughter, and compassion to everyone fortunate enough to know him. The countless lives he touched stand as a testament to the man he was.

We are reaching out on behalf of Chris’ mother, who is facing the unimaginable heartbreak of losing her son while also carrying the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.

A devoted widowed mother, she has spent her entire adult life caring for her two sons with special needs. For decades, she has been their advocate, protector, caregiver, and unwavering source of love and support. Her life has been defined by selflessness, sacrifice, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring her sons were cared for, loved, and given every opportunity possible in life.

At a time when she should be focused on mourning her son and celebrating his life, we don’t want her faced with financial pressures that can feel overwhelming.
