It is with heavy hearts that we create this page for our beloved niece, Cecilia “China” Castro, her boyfriend Lixandro Hernandez, and his brother Martin Hernandez.
They were driving through Arbuckle, California on their way to work when a tire on their van blew out. The van flipped several times on I-5. Tragically, China and Martin lost their lives in the accident.
China was only 27 years old, with her whole life ahead of her. She was full of love, light, and dreams. She is now reunited in heaven with her brother, Luis Castro, and her grandfather, Vicente Castro.
Martin leaves behind his precious 8-year-old son, who will now grow up without his father. He is reunited in heaven with his grandfather, Natividad Hernandez, and his grandmother, Rosario Aguilar. His family in Mexico wishes to bring him home to give him the proper service and lay him to rest surrounded by loved ones.
During this incredibly painful time, we are asking for your support to help cover funeral expenses and transportation costs. Any amount you feel in your heart to give would mean more to us than words can express.
Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for both families. This double loss has devastated us, and we are trying to navigate this unimaginable pain together.
Thank you for your generosity, love, and support during this heartbreaking time.
