Our father, Chhin So, was an amazing man. Through his love and dedication of the Cambodian community, he founded Watt Buddhavajanram Temple located in Elyria, Ohio. Everyone that knew him will say that he was an honorable man. He and our mother showed us the importance of love, patience, and kindness. Even through the most difficult times, he taught us strength and perseverance. 

 Our father was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 and was in Hospice care for the last two years. The morning of April 1, 2021, he passed away peacefully. The absence of his presence is deeply saddening, but cherishing memories of him will mend our hearts and live on through us forever.

 Thank you to everyone who has reached out through phone calls, messages, and prayers.  My family started this Go Fund Me as a convenience for those who had asked to send donations.
