In Loving Memory of Cheryl Betham – Support for Her Family

My name is Kara. On Thursday evening, our beloved Cheryl Betham was tragically taken from us in a devastating car accident. Cheryl was pronounced dead at the scene when EMS arrived. Her mother, Claudia, was also in the car along with Cheryl’s four beautiful children – Theo, Veda, Harley, and Mia – who are now left without their incredible mother.

Cheryl was the heart of her family. She was married to the love of her life, Pete, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion. She worked tirelessly to achieve her goals, earning her place at the Bank of Montreal after graduating from Saint Augustine Catholic School and Miller High School.

She leaves behind not only her children and husband but also her baby brother Aaron, her father Mike, her mother Claudia, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who cherished her deeply. Cheryl had that special aura – the kind that made people want to be close to her. Despite the hardships she faced, she always turned challenges into strength and walked through life with her “It is what it is” spirit.

She was an amazing mother, a loving wife, a devoted daughter, a caring sister, and a true friend. Cheryl adored all creatures, big and small, and lived fully for her family – especially her children.
