In the early morning of January 29th, Charlie Helms, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 31.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Gina, and a precious 1.5-year-old daughter, Natalie--whom he loved with all his heart.
Charlie was an exuberant presence. He had a playful heart, was always quick with a joke, and made it his duty to put a smile on your face. He was magnetic...the type of person who made you feel like you'd been the best of friends for years, even if you'd just met him for the first time.
Charlie was deeply loyal to those he loved. He wore his heart on his sleeve and always went out of his way to make you feel welcome.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and was highly involved in his community and faith. He worked enormously hard to provide for his family which is why we're asking for your support today. With the emotional pain and stress a death can bring, it also brings financial strain.
It's often during times of great sadness or tragedy, where we come together to uplift those in their darkest moments, and provide the support and love to those who need it most. We would like to help give the family some peace of mind as they grieve this enormous loss.
We thank you for any support you're able to give to Gina and Natalie. Most importantly, please take the time to think of your happiest memories with Charlie, and send your love, warm thoughts, and prayers to the Helms family.
