My Husband, Charles Edward Cooper, passed away at the age of 43 on December 9, 2025. Charles died of his injuries from a tragic vehicle accident, where he suffered serious injuries to his brain. The extent of his injuries caused the loss of his life, as we are unprepared for his loss. Charles was a devoted husband and a loving father, whose presence was the heart and soul of his family. We were newly married on November 16 of 2025. He just celebrated his Birthday on Dec 2nd 2025, and then on December 5th, 2025, he was in a tragic accident that left him with serious injuries that took his life. Please donate to help. Our family is facing this hard time with great difficulty and a future forever changed by his loss.
Charles’s life being tragically cut short as a result of this sudden accident has left us all devastated and in shock as we struggle to come to terms with the enormity of our loss. The trauma of losing Charles so unexpectedly is felt not only by his immediate family but also by friends, extended relatives, and all who knew him.
In this incredibly difficult time, Charles’s family is in urgent need of support. The financial burdens they now face include burial arrangements, which we are now facing, being unable to give him the peace he deserves, and other expenses related to his death. The suddenness of his passing has left us unprepared for these expenses.
Charles was known for his unwavering kindness, infectious smile, and kindred spirit. He touched countless lives and was always the first to offer a helping hand to those in need. Charles was also a Registered Donor and was willing to give part of himself to save someone else's life if it were possible. Now, as his family faces the unimaginable, we need the community’s help to ease these financial burdens so we can focus on healing and remembering the amazing man Charles was.
Please consider contributing to this GoFundMe campaign to help Charles's family give him a proper burial. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support his Family in covering the unexpected expenses to provide him a proper burial and other expenses as they navigate this tragic loss. Your compassion and generosity during this time of grief are deeply appreciated.
(We do not have a date of service set as yet. Due to being unable to make the arrangements due to the cost and limited funds, TBD based on Funeral Arrangements when set will be at Webb and Rodricks funeral home in Independence, KS .)
