Our dad, Charles “Chuck” Andrew Wilson, was born on May 28, 1980, and raised in the beautiful city of Azusa, California. He was the youngest of his siblings—Uriel Macias, Blanca Carrillo, and Marco Carrillo—and the beloved son of Benjamin Franklin Wilson and Aurora Carrillo.
From a young age, he loved sports, fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He carried his Azusa pride everywhere he went, attending Paramount Elementary, Slauson Middle School, and Azusa High School. Later in life, he remained deeply connected to his roots, raising his own family in the very same home he grew up in.
With our mom, Karina Wilson, he built a life full of love and dedication. Together, they raised four children—Natalie Wilson, Caitlyn Wilson, Karina Wilson, and Benjamin Wilson. Our dad devoted his life to being present in every moment of ours: picking us up from school, coaching our sports teams, cheering us on at award ceremonies, and making sure we always knew how much he believed in us.
He wasn’t only a father to us—he was a mentor, a coach, and a role model to so many others in the community. He gave his time and heart to Azusa Little League, inspiring countless young athletes, and he proudly served as a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club. His passion for his city and his family was unmatched.
More than anything, Dad taught us the values that shaped who we are today. He showed us how to fish, set up a tent, cook a turkey, and play sports, but more importantly, he showed us how to live with dedication, love, and pride. He always encouraged us to pursue education and to never stop learning—lessons we will carry with us forever.
On September 28, 2025, our dad passed away peacefully in his sleep leaving behind his greatest legacy , his family. Though we are heartbroken, we are deeply grateful for the life, love, and guidance he gave us. His legacy will live on through his family, his community, and the countless lives he touched.
As Dad always said to us:
“Be proud to be a Wilson.”
The Wilson family is asking for donations to help with funeral and burial expenses. Any support is deeply appreciated as we honor his memory.
