We are heartbroken by the unexpected passing of Charlene LaPerle Lee.

On July 30, 2025, Charlene was called home while on vacation with her family in Lake George, New York, a place she loved for its beauty and the memories made there. Her final days were filled with love, peace, and the people dearest to her.

Charlene was a beloved mother, grandmother, educator, and friend whose kindness, dedication, and love touched countless lives. She devoted more than 30 years to teaching in the Worcester Public Schools, going above and beyond to make each student feel seen and capable. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, and leaves behind her loving daughter and best friend, Taryn Lee-Turgeon, son-in-law Ronald, her cherished grandchild Gage, and her treasured cat Kirby.

Charlene’s family is navigating this profound loss while also facing the significant and unexpected costs of her services. This fund was created to help ease that burden so they can focus on honoring her life and legacy.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for Charlene on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 11:30am until her Memorial Service beginning for 1:00pm in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
