In loving memory of Chad (Joseph) Carroll.

Since Chad’s passing, we have been overwhelmed with the unbelievable amount of support from Chad’s family, friends, colleagues, Josh, Chantel along with the Kitchton family/company.
It’s with heavy hearts we had to announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, partner, friend and wonderful father Chad Carroll, 39 on January. 5th, 2023.
I wish I had the perfect words to express our family's love and how unbelievably grateful we are to each and everyone who has taken the time to reach out and express their condolences during this difficult time. I am certain Chad would be overwhelmed with happiness and extreme gratitude. He will forever be grateful for the outpouring of love and support from his family, friends and colleagues towards his son, Jaxon and myself, Melissa.
Chad left Cape Breton to live in Ontario and from there he settled in Alberta for the past 19 years working with local 92 then OE 955 and also North American construction group for 8-9 years and most recently with the Kitchton. Chad’s niche was absolutely working with heavy equipment. He loved to work even while on vacation. I have be told numerous times by his employers and colleagues of how great he was at doing his job.
Chad was such a hands-on father. He loved Jaxon so very much and only wanted the very best for him that life has to offer. Jaxon got his love for books, reading and retaining information from his father. For that, I am so thankful.
Chad loved baseball both playing and watching. He had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh. He had the most beautiful, big brown eyes and smile. That was one of the things that made me fall for him so much, not to mention a great sense of humour. Chad also enjoyed reading books to better himself and learn how to build a better future for his family. He worked so hard to take care of us over the years and did such a great job. I hope he knows how great of a father/partner he was.
Chad, I hope you realize how wonderful of a partner, daddy, friend and colleague that you were and will be forever missed.
If you wish to contribute to honor Chad’s memory, a donation of any size to this go fund me page would greatly be appreciated, to help support Jaxon and myself. Thank you for everyone’s support as we navigate through this difficult time in life.
Thank you all so very much,
Melissa, Jaxon and Family
