Celia Lardizabal Marcos was a Nurse that fought in the frontlines against the Covid-19 Virus. During one of her shift, a patient suspected of having the virus coded. As a member of the crash team, Celia was one of the first to rush in to care for the patient. However, due to the shortage of PPE supplies, Celia was only wearing a regular surgical mask and not a N95 mask. On April 15, she was admitted in the hospital for Pneumonia and the Covid-19 virus. 2 days later on April 17, her conditioned got worst where she fell from her illness. Celia leaves behind 2 kids and a grandchild.
