In loving memory of Cayden Ball

On April 20, 2024 Caydee Scheidemantel received the phone call no mother ever thinks they will get. Her beautiful son Cayden had lost his life while away at school in Savannah, Georgia, at no fault of his own. For everyone who knows how close the two of them were, knows that Caydee lost her whole world in that moment too. Cayden was only 18 years old. He was a freshman at the Savannah College of Art and Design in hopes of pursuing his dreams of becoming an actor. He was absolutely as vibrant off the stage as he was on. Cayden had the gift of connecting to everyone he met, and was often described by friends as being warm hearted and goofy. All of his friends and family are devastated by this loss.

After much convincing, we’re creating this go fund me in hopes of providing our friend Caydee some comfort as she navigates plans to take care of Cayden in this next phase, just as she always has. Memorial services, travel back and forth from OKC to Savannah, taking a leave up absence from her practice—all add up extremely fast. If you are able to help financially, anything is appreciated.
